Tom Ham Workshop

Tom is a professional photographer who works with music labels and artists to produce content for social media, publishers, and other platforms. His role often shifts between producing and directing, and he collaborates both independently and through record labels. As part of a studio photo shoot with students from the music department, I had the chance to learn hands-on about using modeling lights to properly light a subject. I also captured several strong images during the session. Tom later walked us through his editing process in Adobe Lightroom. His workflow focuses on realism—making subtle adjustments in post-production to enhance the image while keeping it as natural and true to life as possible.
